What is Move For Moms?
Move For Moms! is a Fun Run to promote maternal mental health. This event is located in Atlanta’s beautiful Piedmont Park, and includes a 1k for walkers, families, and stroller enthusiasts, and a 5k for those would like to run a longer distance. After the race, refreshments, food, a post-race raffle, an awards ceremony, and family friendly games are all provided as part of the fun.

Greetings Everyone! Are you experiencing, or at least making movement towards experiencing the “Now Life” that you want? I know I am doing both, and let me tell you that it still continues to be a “good struggle.” In my Newsletters I guess it’s fair to say that I am being “transparently curious,” hopefully along with you, or at least as encouragement for you to experiment with trying it as well.
For this month I wanted to share with you all one of my recent very favorite pass times and a therapeutic tools I’ve used for years---the Mandala. Therefore, below you will find some information about what a Mandala is, what some of the benefits to using them with clients and even for yourself are, ways I have used them personally, as well as a few that you could get started with.

Greetings Folks! I do hope this finds you either already, or at least on your way to, experiencing the “Now Life” that you want!
Thank you sooo much for your responses and messages of encouragement after the last and first Newsletter! Again, I find myself challenged to write to you all…, many thoughts of what and why to share…, and awareness that you all are connected to me, but are very diverse, so not sure how to make this relevant and interesting without considerably customizing it to each and every one of you.
Some of you know that I have been a certified Life Coach for the past few years. Well, last month I decided to return to the coaching class for a bit of a refresher and a jump start to spark some new directions and energy, and I am very glad that I chose to do so.

Dear Colleagues, Friends, and Folks who just really want to see me doing well:
I am both excited and nervous to be sending this to you, as I am not exactly sure what to say. And, of course am sitting with fear of it not being good enough, or of disclosing to the point of feeling uncomfortable and vulnerable. But, I have long been very full of a sense of gratitude for the many blessings that I experience, for folks and encounters with folks like you, and, frankly for coming through to the other side of yet another challenge or hurtle in life. In fact, I have often fantasized about what kind of, and what I would say in a "Newsletter" to you all. When I looked I found this: "Newsletters serve numerous purposes, such as disseminating information, motivating performance, promoting unity, improving morale and supplementing company records. Organizations and businesses often use them as a representational tool. They help an organization spread word about its existence, and they help a business gain more customers."
So, in terms of disseminating information, promoting unity, and motivating others…, I want to share that I am living proof that we can use our past, pain, and passion as power to empower us, and others, to not just simply "move on and heal and grow," but to do something that often feels like a necessary pre-step …to get or keep moving! Move those stuck places…, move our feet…, move our mouths…, move our bodies…, move our door sign from "closed" to "open," or even our peg from "failure to thrive" to "thriving."
